At the Winston Knolls School, we are committed to providing innovative and inclusive STEM programming that integrates technology to enhance the educational experience for all students. We utilize a variety of assistive technologies to support communication, empowering students to express themselves and engage meaningfully in their learning. Chromebooks are used to promote independent learning and allow students to access a curriculum tailored to their needs. Interactive whiteboards serve as powerful tools for whole-group interaction, facilitating collaborative learning and helping students develop essential technology skills.

This year, our students are taking on an exciting project: redesigning the Winston Knolls website, which will be unveiled in June 2025. Brayden Gall, a dedicated student at our school, has taken on the role of project leader for this student-led initiative, exemplifying the integration of STEM skills in real-world applications. STEM education is especially critical in a therapeutic day school setting, as it encourages problem-solving, creativity, and self-confidence, preparing students for successful futures where technology will play an ever-growing role.
