Support Winston Knolls Interactive Technology

STEM Scholars Program……

The Winston Knolls Foundation (WKF), in partnership with The Winston Knolls School (DBA The Winston Knolls Education Group/Bancroft School), proudly presents the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Scholars Program: Igniting Autistic Minds through Interactive Learning. This transformative initiative is designed to breathe new life into STEM education by replacing outdated technology with cutting-edge interactive whiteboards, empowering students with autism to embrace their full potential within the dynamic world of STEM.

This program is not merely about replacing outdated equipment—it’s about unlocking each student’s potential, fostering inclusivity and equity, and empowering our students to excel in STEM fields. By investing in the STEM Scholars Program, you will equip students with the tools they need to succeed and become tomorrow's scientists, engineers, and innovators.

We believe this program has the potential to make a significant impact on the lives of students with autism and pave the way for a more inclusive future in STEM education. We hope you will consider supporting this important initiative.

Program Goals and Measurable Results

Equipping Students with Essential Tech Skills:
Our goal is to equip classrooms with interactive whiteboards, enabling students to interact with content, learn digital literacy, and develop communication skills in a hands-on environment.
Measurable Result: At least 90% of students will show an increase in tech competence, as measured by pre- and post-assessments in digital literacy.

  • Fostering Independence and Self-Advocacy:
The technology will encourage students to take control of their learning experiences and make decisions that align with their needs.
Measurable Result: 85% of students will report increased confidence in self-advocacy and independence, based on surveys and feedback from teachers and staff.

  • Preparing Students for Employment:
By providing students with opportunities to engage with technology that mirrors real-world tools, we are helping them prepare for future careers.
Measurable Result: 80% of students will demonstrate readiness for post-graduation opportunities, as assessed through career readiness evaluations.
